Public policy and citizen participation in the local sphere. Reflection and analysis in light of the recent Argentinean experience

Abstract

The paper examines the main features of citizen participation continuity and as a government tool in Argentina. We consider the elements of change make up the institutional profile, management model and model of articulation between new state and social actors within the territory, as well as the scope offered by new local policy instruments in terms of more democratic interaction and openness.
